Resumo: O Comando da Aeronáutica criou o Plano de Desenvolvimento de Aeródromos de Interesse Militar (PDAIM), com o objetivo de identificar, selecionar e priorizar aqueles para emprego dos meios aéreos da Força Aérea em operações de segurança e defesa do território nacional. Esta pesquisa, bibliográfica e documental, tem por finalidade identificar quais fatores influenciam a continuidade do PDAIM na Região Amazônica. O trabalho apresenta o contexto sobre a concepção do PDAIM na Região Amazônica no tocante à seleção dos aeródromos prioritários e da execução das obras sob a responsabilidade da COMARA. A pesquisa teve por base a análise de documentos legais, normativos e doutrinários específicos a fim de perscrutar fatores que possam contribuir com a solução do problema proposto. As bases conceituais do referencial teórico foram extraídas a partir das teorias de emprego do poder aéreas, logísticas e gerenciamento da cadeia de suprimento e desenvolvimento da Amazônia. A pesquisa, classificada como descritiva quanto aos objetivos, estabeleceu uma análise entre as quatro últimas edições do PDAIM, as quais apresentaram elevada similaridade quanto aos aeródromos que compõe o Plano. Quanto aos critérios de seleção utilizados, não há qualquer há preocupação com a inserção dos aeródromos mesmos no desenvolvimento regional e a grande maioria não atende à operação de aeronaves voltadas para a segurança e defesa da Amazônia. Dentre os cinco tipos de aeródromos classificados, há um notório privilégio daqueles destinados ao apoio às tropas do Exército e, quanto ao financiamento das obras, uma grande parcela dos recursos tem sido utilizada para suprir outras demandas do COMAER. A COMARA tem enfrentado as adversidades regionais no cumprimento de suas atribuições, agravado pelo distanciamento das obras próximas à fronteira ocidental, enquanto a sede da organização permanece no extremo oposto da região elevando os custos logísticos. Foram apontadas alternativas para a redução desses custos, por intermédio da adoção de medidas pontuais ou de caráter mais abrangente transferindo a sede da organização para Manaus. Os Programas Calha Norte e Amazônia Sustentável foram analisados com o objetivo de se levantar as possibilidades de os mesmos serem capazes de incrementar o PDAIM na Amazônia. Abstract: The Command of the Aeronautics created the Plan of Development of Aerodromes of Military Interest (PDAIM), with the objective of identifying, to select and to prioritize those for job of the aerial ways of the Air force in operations of safety and defense of the national territory. This research, bibliographical and documental, has for purpose to identify which factors influence the continuity of PDAIM in the Amazonian Area. The work presents the context about the conception of PDAIM in the Amazonian Area concerning the selection of the priority aerodromes and of the execution of the works under the responsibility of COMARA. The research had for base the analysis of documents legal, normative and doctrinaire specific in order to search factors to contribute with the solution of the proposed problem. The conceptual bases of the theoretical referential were extracted starting from the theories of job of the aerial power, logistics and administration of the supply chain and development of the Amazonian. The research, classified as descriptive as for the objectives, it established an analysis among the last four editions of PDAIM, which presented high similarity as for the aerodromes that it composes the Plan. As for the selection criteria used, no there is any there is concern with the insert of the same aerodromes in the regional development and the great majority doesn't assist to the operation of aircrafts returned for the safety and defense of the Amazonian. Among the five types of classified aerodromes, there is a well-known privilege of those destined to the support to the troops of the Army and, as for the financing of the works, a great portion of the resources has been used to supply other demands of COMAER. COMARA has been facing the regional adversities in the execution of their attributions, worsened by the estrangement of the close works to the western border, while the headquarters of the organization stays in the opposite end of the area elevating the costs logistics. They were pointed alternatives for the reduction of those costs, through the adoption of punctual measures or of including character transferring the headquarters of the organization for Manaus. The Programs Calha Norte and Amazonian Maintainable they were analyzed with the objective of lifting the possibilities of the same ones be capable to increase PDAIM in the Amazonian.
