O objetivo deste estudo de caso é analisar como a estratégia de abordagem cultural implementada por Alexandre, o Grande, contribuiu para a conquista pacífica do Egito Antigo.Por meio da identificação dos aspectos culturais envolvidos, verifica-se que a visão egípcia da figura de um governante era baseada na capacidade divina do faraó de manter a ordem e o equilíbrio social. Nesse sentido, a pesquisa bibliográfica revela que a ocupação do Império Persa no Egito gerou divergências culturais, criando um ambiente instável de insurgências econflitos, levando os persas a empregarem a força constantemente para assegurar seu domínio. O estudo também investiga como Alexandre agiu com uma estratégia diferente dos persas e buscou a legitimidade por meio de ações que atraíssem o apoio dos nativos e provassem sua autoridade. Isso se mostrou crucial para garantir uma ocupação estável e duradoura. A partir da análise comparativa das estratégias adotadas, foram identificados os principais fatores culturais que influenciaram no sucesso do líder macedônio, como religião, tradições, costumes, identidade nacional e cultural, educação, idioma e políticas de governo. Conclui-se que ao considerar a cultura local, as lideranças militares podem adaptarsuas abordagens, conquistar a confiança das comunidades envolvidas e aumentar as chances de sucesso em operações militares. Abstract: The purpose of this case study is to analyze how the cultural approach strategy implemented by Alexander the Great contributed to the peaceful conquest of Ancient Egypt. By identifying the cultural aspects involved, it becomes apparent that the Egyptian view of a ruler was based on the pharaoh's divine ability to maintain order and social balance. In thissense, bibliographic research reveals that the Persian Empire's occupation of Egypt generated cultural divergences, creating an unstable environment of insurgencies and conflicts, leading the Persians to constantly employ force to ensure their dominion. The study also investigates how Alexander acted with a different strategy from the Persians and sought legitimacy through actions that attracted the support of the natives and proved his authority. This proved crucial in ensuring a stable and lasting occupation. Through a comparative analysis of the adopted strategies, the main cultural factors that influenced the success of the Macedonian leader were identified, such as religion, traditions, customs, national and cultural identity,education, language, and government policies. It is concluded that by considering the local culture, military leaders can adapt their approaches, gain the trust of the communities involved, and increase the chances of success in military operations. This understanding is relevant to the strategic planning of the Brazilian Air Force and contributes to future studies on Fifth-Generation Warfare. Ver menos
