A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a influência da reestruturação da Força Aérea Brasileira, iniciado em 2016, no cumprimento da missão das unidades aéreas, com viés voltado para separação das atividades operacionais das administrativas. Dada a amplitude do tema, restringiu-se o universo de pesquisa aos esquadrões do grupo B da aviação de Inteligência, Vigilância e Reconhecimento. A fundamentação teórica baseou-se nas vertentes das áreas de administração e planejamento e de gestão estratégica, as quais nortearam o tratamento dos dados obtidos nas legislações do Comando da Aeronáutica voltadas ao assunto, e nas respostas ao questionário virtual enviado aos aeronavegantes das unidades aéreas alvo do estudo. A análise dos resultados indicou que houve êxito na diminuição no número de encargos burocráticos na rotina dos esquadrões de voo, mas eles não foram totalmente eliminados. Contudo, com a migração do pessoal não-aeronavegante para os Grupamento de Apoio e para os Grupamentos de Logística, ocorreu também a redução do efetivo, e os militares que deveriam ocupar-se unicamente com o preparo e com o emprego da Força, ficaram responsáveis, também, por esses resquícios de obrigações das atividades-meio. Dessa forma, inferiu-se que a reestruturação da Força Aérea Brasileira não afetou, positiva ou negativamente, no cumprimento da missão das unidades aéreas, haja vista que, até o ano de 2021, a total dicotomia das atividades-fim da parte administrativa ainda não havia ocorrido por completo no âmbito dos esquadrões de voo Ver menos

Abstract: The present research aimed to analyze the impact of the restructuring of the Brazilian Air Force, which began in 2016, on the fulfillment of the mission of the air units, with a bias towards the separation of operational and administrative activities. Given the scope of the theme, the research universe was restricted to squadrons of group B of the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance aviation. The theoretical foundation was based on the areas of administration and planning and strategic management, which guided the treatment of the data obtained in the legislation of the Air Force Command on the subject, and in the answers to the virtual questionnaire sent to the flying personnel of the air units targeted by the study. The analysis of the results indicated that there was success in reducing the number of bureaucratic burdens in the routine of the flight squadrons, but they were not totally eliminated. However, with the migration of non-aircraft personnel to the Support and Logistics Groups, there was also a reduction in the number of personnel, and the military that should only be concerned with the preparation and employment of the Force, were also responsible for these remaining obligations of the middle-activities. Thus, it was inferred that the restructuring of the Brazilian Air Force did not affect, positively or negatively, the fulfillment of the mission of the air units, considering that, by the year 2021, the total dichotomy of the end-activities from the administrative part had not yet occurred in full within the flight squadrons Ver menos
