O cerne do presente trabalho foi fixado sobre o objetivo de compreender em que medida as dificuldades para gerenciar o GPAer, enfrentadas pelas OM subordinadas ao Comando de Preparo (COMPREP), impactam na Maturidade da Gestão dos Projetos (GP) desse grande comando. O atingimento desse objetivo ocorreu, inicialmente, por intermédio de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental que identificou a alta aderência do Comando do COMPREP à utilização do software em questão. O passo seguinte foi construído sobre a metodologia desenvolvida por Prado (2008), Maturidade em Gerenciamento de Projetos (MMGP), em decorrência de ser um método consagrado nacionalmente, com ampla validação em organizações públicas e privadas, além de apresentar maior simplicidade em sua aplicação quando comparado às outras metodologias disponíveis. O presente método demonstrou que esse Órgão de Direção Setorial está no nível de maturidade definido como Conhecido; bem como identificou forte aderência ao estágio Padronizado e Gerenciando, caracterizando, assim, uma fase mediana de desenvolvimento. Corroborando a análise foi ainda determinado que esse Órgão de Direção Setorial se encontra em um estágio regular das dimensões de maturidade em GP, apresentando melhor desempenho em Competência em Gerenciamento de Projetos,porém, as dimensões Estrutura Organizacional e Alinhamento Estratégico obtiveram os mais baixos percentuais. Abstract: The core of the present work was fixed on the objective of understanding to what extent the difficulties faced to manage the GPAer by the Military Organizations, subordinated to the Preparatory Command (COMPREP), impact the Project Management (GP) Maturity Level ofthis great Command. The achievement of this objective occurred, initially, through bibliographic and documental research that identified the high adherence of the COMPREP Command to the use of the software in question. The next step was built on the methodology developed by Prado (2008), Maturity in Project Management (MMGP), as it is a nationally recognized method, with wide validation in public and private organizations, in addition to presenting greater simplicity in its application, when compared to other available methodologies. The present method demonstrated that this Sectorial Management Organization (ODS) is at the maturity level defined as Known; as well as identified strong adherence to the Standardized and Managing stage, thus characterizing a medium stage of development. Corroborating the analysis, it was also determined that this ODS is in a regular stage of the GP maturity dimensions, presenting better performance in Project Management Competence, however, the Organizational Structure and Strategic Alignment dimensions obtained the lowest percentages.
