Com inegável importância estratégica, o poder aeroespacial aguça, desde seu início, interesse de vários teóricos e estrategistas militares. Assim, a segurança de voo tornase essencial. O CENIPA (Centro de Investigação e Prevenção de Acidentes Aeronáuticos), organização responsável pelas atividades de prevenção e de investigação destas ocorrências, categoriza os fatores que contribuem para as ocorrências em humano, material e operacional. Mesmo em face aos elevados investimentos e desenvolvimento tecnológico, o fator humano continua sendo o mais recorrente dentre os contribuintes, sendo o foco desta pesquisa. Com uma metodologia expositiva-argumentativa, foram utilizados dados do CENIPA no decênio compreendido entre os anos de 2010 e 2019 para analisar, por meio do Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS), o impacto das ocorrências maeronáuticas, que tiveram os fatores humanos como contribuintes, no poder aeroespacial brasileiro. Além disso, foram utilizados procedimentos de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental para fundamentar o objetivo proposto. Esse objetivo foi subdividido em dois, visando os impactos no preparo e no emprego da Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB). Com isso, dentro do universo de ocorrências analisadas na aviação civil, foi possível constatar a dimensão dos fatores humanos nas ocorrências aeronáuticas, atingindo 80%. Ressalta-se que quase a metade representa aquelas que predominam perdas materiais e também de vidas. Abstract: With undeniable strategic importance, aerospace power has, since its inception, piqued the interest of many military theorists and strategists. Thus, flight safety becomes essential. CENIPA (Center for Investigation and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents), the organization responsible for the activities of prevention and investigation of these occurrences, categorizes the factors that contribute to human, material and operational occurrences. Even in the face of high investments and technological development, the human factor remains the most recurrent among contributors, being the focus of this research. With an argumentative expository methodology, data from CENIPA in the decade between 2010 and 2019 were used to analyze, through the Human Factors Analysis and Classification System (HFACS), the impact of aeronautical events, which had human factors as contributors, in Brazilian aerospace power. In addition, bibliographic and documentary research procedures were used to support the proposed objective. This objective was subdivided into two, aiming at the impacts on the preparation and employment of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB). Thus, within the universe of occurrences analyzed in civil aviation, it was possible to verify the dimension of human factors in aeronautical occurrences, reaching 80%.
